"Just Tie, Baby!"
Nobody really likes a tie in sports, but on Sunday Night Football in Week 18, it seemed like the whole nation was hoping for a draw between the Las Vegas Raiders and the Los Angeles Chargers - and it almost happened.
Whether the Raiders were about to call the truce or not, the world will never know. When Chargers head coach Brandon Staley called timeout within the final minute of overtime tied at 32 points, he seemed to be stopping the clock for a chance to respond to a potential field goal attempt from the Las Vegas.
A tie would've eliminated the Pittsburgh Steelers by sending both the Chargers and the Raiders to the postseason. On Monday's show, Calvin and Hardge stated that they believe the Raiders' late owner Al Davis would've conceded that winning every time isn't what matters when a tie sends the Steelers home.
